About Mt. Olive A.M.E. Zion Church
Mount Olive African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is one of the leading congregations in the Durham area. We are a vibrant congregation dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and cultural needs of the surrounding community. Our Church is deeply rooted in holy words, and our doors are always open to community members who are looking for a place to worship.
Our AMEZ Mission is to promote the up building of God's Kingdom through Discipleship as we:
Search for and minister to the lost;
Visit the sick and the imprisoned;
Feed the hungry;
Reclaim the lost souls and;
Offering Jesus to the physically and spiritually dying.
We encourage fervent prayer, community services, the unity and commitment of the church and family life. We forgo this mission through Christian Education, Missionary Outreach, and Evangelism. All this we do in the precious name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
